You can read about my progress below:
Last year I visited my 30th country before my 30th birthday, a target I set myself 8 years ago. Visiting new countries is great. As an example, here's a picture of me feeding a deer a cookie in Osaka, Japan.
I've realised though that in my pursuit of new countries I've failed to explore my own home nation. With that in mind, this year I've set myself a challenge to visit as many counties in England as possible.
In case you didn't know, counties are really weird. I'm using the Ceremonial definition for my list of 48 counties. Here's a great video by Jay Foreman and Mark Cooper-Jones explaing the oddities.
Along the way I'm going to write a post about my adventures in each county and hopefully find something interesting to do (not guaranteed). I'm hoping that by keeping a log of my travels I'll be more likely to find new places to go.
Join me as I travel slightly less far and wide than I have done previously...
